Margaret Graham of Crosslands

Margaret Graham died Jan. 18, 2012 at
Crosslands, her home for the last 24 years. Born in Baltimore, Md. and
growing up in Quantico, Md., she studied at Strayer Business College. She
married the hometown love of her life, Harlan Lucine, in 1944. Margaret was
most proud of her part in helping her husband achieve success in his career at
DuPont and of the family they raised together. Having been widowed in 1967, she
became a great help to her friends who followed that path later in life.

Margaret spent many years volunteering
time to various organizations such as Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts, The American Red
Cross, the Altar Guild and Vestry at the Church of the Advent in Kennett
Square, and The Brandywine River Museum. Margaret also enjoyed traveling
all over the world, a pleasure she discovered with her husband. She
continued this hobby with friends after Harlan’s passing.

She is survived by her three children:
son Gary and his partner Bonnie Graham of Medford, N.J.; daughter Gail and her
partner Karen Heebner of Chadds Ford; and daughter Jo and her partner Fred
Weaver of Zuni, Va. Her grandchildren are Nathaniel Graham and partner Kelly,
Megan Church and partner Rob, and Kathryn Honsberger and partner Kaleb. There
are 3 (with one on the way) great grandchildren, Silas, Ayden and Noelle.

Interment will be private at the
gravesite. There will be a celebration of life and reception at a date to be
announced in the future. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to
the American Red Cross, Southeastern Chapter, 2221 Chestnut St., Philadelphia
PA 19103 or St. Philips Church, PO Box 92, Quantico, MD 21856.
