Helen Elizabeth Springer, 80,
of West Grove, died at her residence on Sunday, July 24. She was the wife of
Howard E. Springer, who died in 1990, with whom she shared 35 years of
marriage.
Born in West Grove, she was the
daughter of the late William and Lola Jefferes Holden.
She was a custodian at the West
Chester University in West Chester, many years before her retirement.
Helen attended the Christian
Life Center in New London.
She was an avid Phillies fan.
She enjoyed shopping, travelling, going to the Beauty shop and being with her
family and friends.
She is survived by one
daughter, Lola Mae Jackson and her husband Elwood of West Grove; one sister,
Elsie Smith of West Chester; three grandchildren, Ashlee Grzandziel, Aaron
and Brent Jackson and one great-grandson, Shawn Grzandziel.
You are invited to visit with her family and friends from 9-11
a.m. on Saturday, July 30, at the Foulk & Grieco Funeral Home, 200 Rose
Hill Road, West Grove. Her funeral service will follow. Burial will be in Union
Hill Cemetery, Route 82, Kennett Square.
