Mary Kistner, nee Convery, of West Grove

Mary Kistner, nee Convery, 84, of West Grove, formerly of
Springfield, Delaware County, died suddenly at her residence on
Tuesday, Aug. 16. She was the wife of Edward C Kistner Jr, who died in 2000,
and with whom she shared 49 years of marriage.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late
Joseph and Ethel McBlaine Convery.

She was a homemaker who volunteered for many years at St. Francis
of Assisi, Springfield, where she was a long time member. She enjoyed singing,
embroidering, and bird watching. She was an avid reader. She is a current
member of St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother church in Avondale.

She is survived by two sons, Edward C. Kistner III and wife
Janet of Seattle, Wash. ; David J.Kistner and wife Tamra of Willow Grove;
daughters Dr. Mary Louise Kistner and husband Larry Stone of Bluefield of W. Va.;
Diane C. Hochstuhl and husband John of Landenberg; Christina R. Conway of
Springfield; Emily Klammer and husband Paul of Dresher. She is also survived by
16 grandchildren: Megan, David, and Andrea Hochstuhl; Lindsey and Lucas Stone;
Kevin, Brian, Caitlin, and Kyle Conway; Christopher and Erica
Kistner; Nathan and Timothy Kistner; Alissa, Brian and Colleen
Klammer.

You are invited to visit with her family and friends between
10 and 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 19, at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church
8910 Gap-Newport Pike, Rt. 41 Avondale. Mass follows at 11 a.m. Burial at Sts.
Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, at 1 p.m.
