With the heat and humidity continuing, so does the threat of heavy thunderstorms. The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Chester and Southwestern Delaware counties until 4:45 p.m. Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm and may lead to flash flooding.
